Reviews.
“The author rightly points out in the introduction of the book that we are living in very turbulent times. It seems there is rapid growth in skepticism and a lack of confidence in social structures and even the governments themselves. However, these fierce waves of doubt have also caused hunger and thirst for something to hold on to. Can one trust the Bible as a credible and reliable source of truth? What is the origin of the Bible? Is Jesus of Nazareth the Messiah? Why are we here on Earth?
Stones Crying Out: Fulfilling Bible Prophecy was authored by Gertrude Garrow. It was published by AtoZeasy Learning Limited in 2020. The outstanding book is approximately 177 pages long and is divided into twenty-eight chapters. It is in the genre of nonfiction and uses a great number of fulfilled prophecies and extra-biblical sources to support the credibility of the Bible. The evidence presented in the book was not only comprehensive but also sufficient to draw a conclusion. Consequently, it acts as a key resource for Christian believers to not only give the reason for their well-founded belief but also whom they steadfastly believe.
The author quoted the notable works of many archaeologists, reputable historians, and other scientists in the book. Some quotations were from ancient writers, and I enjoyed reading them. They were not only critical for backing up various subjects presented but also brought light to many historical events I was unaware of before. I have often read the Bible and pondered whether and how some prophecies were fulfilled. The fact there are approximately fourteen thousand manuscripts of the Old Testament in existence today was astounding as well.
The language employed in the book was straightforward and consequently making it comprehensible for a general audience. Additionally, editing was professionally done. Its brevity was equally an added advantage for readers who dislike lengthy books. This is because the book is relevant for both Christians and seekers. To begin with, the information contained in the book will help in strengthening one's conviction. Furthermore, seekers will be able to examine the evidence contained in the book and accordingly make sound decisions. It also throws light on some issues that appear contentious in the Bible, like faith and work. As a result, it becomes clear the scriptures are complementary, not contradictory. Eventually, one will agree with the author's assertion that the Bible can do nothing but profit from the increase in knowledge.
There is nothing I disliked about the book. I rate the book 4 out of 4 stars. I recommend it to all ardent readers of Christian apologetics. It is equally suitable for those investigating the credibility and accuracy of the Bible. All readers will benefit immensely from the fascinating chapter addressing identity and purpose.”

“I read Stones Crying Out: Fulfilling Bible Prophecy by Gertrude Garrow. It is a thought-provoking book about the many ways in which events and discoveries that have happened can be connected to specific biblical prophecies. I found myself engrossed in this book because the topic is very interesting to me.
The author begins with an introduction that discusses the turmoil in today's world and how, with various opinions and fear flying in all directions, it is hard to know what to believe or who to trust. She then proceeds to discuss the origin of the Bible and how, through the evidence of many historical events and archaeological findings, the accuracy of biblical happenings and prophecies have stood the test of time. In great depth, Garrow talks about the books of the Bible, how each one was significant, and the importance of many people in the Bible. Over several chapters, she lists each prophecy and tells, in detail, how the prophecy has been fulfilled.
This is a very well-written book with thoroughly researched evidence and facts to back up the author's points. I was fascinated with her manner of laying out the facts and also with her knowledge of the subject matter. Judging by the way in which she tells the information, it is evident that she has studied the Bible and historical events for many years.
I enjoyed her discussion on the Great Flood, as evidence that surrounds it has always been interesting to me. I also liked the chapters which discussed the coming of the Messiah, the lineage of Jesus, as well as Jesus' birth, life, death and resurrection. I particularly liked the section that told how Jesus claimed to be God, complete with many of Jesus' quotes that support His claim.
With the exception of a few very small grammatical errors, I cannot find anything negative about the book. I feel like many readers, especially those with a desire to understand biblical prophecy, would enjoy reading this book. Those who are interested but have had doubts about the validity of many biblical stories may also find much of the author's research to be engrossing. It is definitely a book that will leave you pondering many things.
I am rating the book 4 out of 4 stars. The only grammatical errors were very minute, and otherwise, it is a wonderful book to consider reading. I'm glad I had the chance to read this one, and I hope many others will, too.”

“Stones Crying Out by Gertrude Garrow is a Christian book that teaches us the authenticity of the Holy Bible.
Some people lack the understanding of the biblical scriptures. In this book, the author discusses the origin of the Bible and its contents. Also, the prophets were not left out. Gertrude Garrow explained the latent messages and facts about the Bible. She also unraveled the mysteries behind the current state of some cities in this present time, which were ancient cities mentioned in the Bible. Are you curious to know more about the Bible? Read this fascinating art for better insight.
I must commend the author for the number of facts, Bible references, history, knowledge, and understanding embedded in the book’s pages. I was awed by the author's knowledge, critical reasoning ability, and patience at finding and further matching numerous prophecies in the Bible with the time and manner of its fulfillment. It was terrific, and that kept me glued to the discussion.
The facts were not just exciting but educative as well. For instance, a part of the book gave the biblical authors' professions. The book contained several Bible prophecies and their fulfillment. The book took a brief look at the origin of the Bible, investigated the Bible's credibility through the eyes of archaeology and history, and examined some of the two thousand biblical prophecies that have already been fulfilled with remarkable accuracy.
This book will benefit Christians because it explained a perfect interpretation of different parts of the Bible. It opened our eyes to biblical facts. Also, the author gave an accurate calculation of Jesus' birth and resurrection, judging from the irrefutable proofs.
Furthermore, this book encouraged Christians to be hopeful. According to the author, "Jerusalem had been destroyed and besieged for years due to their wrongdoings, God had still not forgotten the covenant he made with our fathers." She also enlightened the reader about monarchy, which was speculated to be restored with the second coming of Christ, who would be the Messiah and King.
There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this book. Therefore, I am rating it 4 out of 4 stars based on the above positive points highlighted above. This is a well-researched book. The structuring was excellent, down to the concluding part of the book. Also, it was exceptionally edited, as I did not find any grammatical errors. The author is indeed an excellent writer. I recommend this book to historians, archaeologists, and Christians as a whole. As said, "the study of history helps us avoid and correct past errors.”
