Gertrude Garrow.

Gertrude Garrow formerly Gert Kerrigan, was born fourth in a family of ten children in Co. Galway, Ireland.  She is married to the artist, Simon Garrow and has three sons, Mark, Warren and Stuart Kerrigan.

She is the author of the #1 International Bestseller, ‘Stones Crying Out – Fulfilling Bible Prophecy’ and ‘Fields of Daisies –Leading to a Victorious Life’.

In her early 20’s, Gertrude was employed as a microbiologist in Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, but following the birth of her first son, Mark, she took a keen interest in education, studied Montessori teaching and opened her own Montessori school.  Shortly after this, RTE, Irish National TV and radio contracted her as a scriptwriter and presenter of children’s programmes.

Gertrude has had numerous songs and hymns published, and has written the lyrics and music for ‘Love Alone Will Win’, which has been animated.

In the 80’s, Gertrude won awards both as a playwright and poet.

Gertrude was raised a Roman Catholic, but in her late twenties had a crisis of faith.  However, in 1978, she had a supernatural encounter with Jesus that transformed her life.  Following this, she began to study the Bible and was awed by the significance of biblical prophecy.  This led her to investigate some of the 2000+ fulfilled and future biblical prophecies in conjunction with historical and archaeological discoveries.

“You only have to look at Israel today to see that the Bible is coming to life,” explains the author.

“Predictions of the Hebrew prophets have come to fruition almost word for word, through world events since the late 1940s.

“It was important to step outside the realm of the Bible itself, to show how recent archaeological discoveries and modern history are fully congruent with what the Bible taught us 2,000 years ago. Today, many of the world’s leading scientists and scholars acknowledge humanity is racing toward the cataclysmic events described in its ‘apocalyptic’ chapters, such as Matthew’s Gospel Chapter 24 and the book of Revelation.”

Stones Crying Out, Fulfilling Bible Prophecy highlights some of these findings, and puts the evidence in front of the world, in order to show that the Bible is 100% credible and accurate.

Gertrude has preached the gospel message globally and on Pakistan Independence Day, in 2010, she preached to a multitude of Christians and Moslems, on how to find true freedom based on the scripture verse:

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…”

— Galatians 5:1a

This gospel message was received with such enthusiasm that it prompted her to write Stones Crying Out.  She felt that ‘Biblical Freedom’ should be made available to everyone.  This is the kind of freedom that liberates you from worry, stress and anxiety and brings lasting peace & joy.

Gertrude’s natural teaching talent has enabled her to make the contents of the books of the Bible more accessible and more easily understood.

In her later book, Fields of Daisies – Leading to a Victorious Life, Gertrude explains how she found her strength to survive barren times, by embracing the Christian faith.  She affirms that her true point of victory was coming to understand the difference between ‘religion’ and ‘relationship’.

That is to say, talking directly to God and hearing his voice, rather than performing a series of rituals in an effort to reach Him. The foundational truths of her faith are clearly defined and these are illustrated with accounts of the remarkable miracles she, her family and friends have experienced.

As a university lecturer and international teacher, Gertrude has, through her accelerated teaching systems, transformed the lives of thousands of children and adults.  A portion of the reading and number system were published in 1984, under the titles of Laugh-a-Letter, Visit Letterland and Laugh-a-Number, Visit Numberland.   Following observation of her teaching literacy to a class of 14 year olds with special educational needs, in the UK, she was described in the press as the: ‘World’s Most Gifted Teacher’
